OUR MISSION PARTNERS
At Hickory Grove, we realize that Jesus gave us a commission to go make disciples of all nations. Starting with our very own community and all the way to the continents, we are determined to help every person take their next step with Jesus. Here are just some of our partnerships that God has forged in our midst...
Helping Hands
Our Helping Hands ministry exists to give people a HAND UP, not just a hand out. The volunteers who run this ministry partner with local school family resource centers to meet the physical needs of children and their families in our community. Helping Hands also partners with the Moore Activity Center to help families in inner city Covington during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. We also partner with The Scorpion Center, an alternative school resource center which provides backpacks of snacks and meals for the weekends for students all over Northern KY that would go hungry if not for this provision. For more information about this ministry, please contact our secretary Diane Courtney at (859) 356-3162, ext. 10.

MAC (Moore Activity Center)
Through our partnership with the Moore Activity Center in inner city Covington, KY, we meet the needs of children who need support in various ways. Your giving has made it possible to provide meals, back-to-school supplies, and to help families during the holidays each year. |
Nate Sallee is the area director for Northern KY FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), helping reach and disciple teenagers and college students in schools throughout our area with a special focus on the campus of Northern Kentucky University. We are supporting Nate in his efforts financially as we partner together to reach a next generation for Jesus.
New Hope Pregnancy Center
We are blessed to be partnered with the New Hope Center, a ministry that reaches out to young ladies who may be considering an abortion. Through their ministry, the option of life is presented in a loving and gracious way, and they and the fathers are mentored and trained to become healthy parents. |
Southern Baptist Disaster Relief
Southern Baptist Disaster Relief is one of the crown jewels of our denomination's mission task force. Disaster Relief teams are often some of the first boots on the ground in time of crisis and catastrophe all over our country and even globally. We are blessed to have quite the team of trained folks right here at Hickory Grove who have made themselves available to do what it takes to shine the light of Jesus in dark circumstances. |
Cooperative Program
Our church gives a large portion of its annual budget to what is called the Cooperative Program, a great strategy of our denomination that allows the giving of all its church to be pooled together to place thousands of missionaries in our state, our country, and around the world. |
The Northern Kentucky Baptist Association
Our church gives a large portion of its annual budget to The Northern Kentucky Baptist Association, which exists to help churches like ours to accomplish together what it cannot do alone. By pooling our time, resources, and efforts with other like-minded churches in our region we have been able to fund hispanic ministries, campus ministries at NKU, church plants, and inner-city work in Covington. |
The North American Mission Board (NAMB)
Our church gives a portion of its annual budget to The North American Mission Board. Its function is to spread the gospel throughout our continent, with an emphasis on planting new churches and sending relief to the hurting. When you give to Hickory Grove, you are literally taking the gospel all over our continent! |
The International Mission Board (IMB)
Our church gives a portion of its annual budget to The International Mission Board. Its function is to spread the gospel throughout the world by supporting and sending missionaries. Its primary focus is to help churches be a part of taking the gospel to unreached people groups (UPG's). When you give to Hickory Grove, you are literally taking the gospel to places that have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ! |
