What makes Upward different than other programs? We believe in developing children using the 360 degree progression (Mentally, Athletically, Socially, and Spiritually). Not only do we teach the fundamentals of sports, but we also teach children how to make better choices in their lives. We don't force our beliefs on our families, but we do introduce Jesus to children and families in a loving way by teaching virtues such as commitment, respect, trust, and compassion. Click HERE for more details about Upward Sports.
Our rules progressively get harder and more comprehensive the older your child is. Winning is fun, but it is NOT our goal. We teach that a spirit of competition is encouraged, but that there is much more to life than a game.
PARENTS:
A positive attitude is an extremely important element in this league. We expect all people watching the children play to remember this is supposed to be fun experience, while children are learning the game. Our coaches and referees are volunteers, so we ask that you are respectful in your actions and your words.
We Want YOU!
If you love Jesus, like football/cheerleading, and working with children, prayerfully consider
coaching, refereeing, or game day volunteering.
Contact Travis for more information. Please begin praying for God's love to be seen in all that we do and say throughout the season.
