Women's Ministry
The Women’s Council here at Hickory Grove seeks to provide connection points for our ladies in the areas of Bible study, service, discipleship, fellowship and encouragement. Some of the opportunities we provide to meet those needs include uplifting spring and fall events, service opportunities, retreats, craft nights or other spiritual growth programs throughout the year.

EMBRACE: Woman to Woman Mentoring
This ministry incorporates friendship and discipleship as two Christian women encourage and support one another. It is our desire to enhance a Christ-centered journey for women by developing mentor relationships woman to woman. The Bible tells us that a wise woman seeks advice and information from those who know more than she. We pair each trained mentor with a younger woman who is seeking a discipleship mentor in her Christian walk. (Program Coordinator: Shelley Robinson 859-441-7772)

ENCOURAGE: Uplifting Events
Hickory Grove Women’s Council provides ladies with opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and discipleship through outreach events and retreats. These events are designed to refresh and renew our minds, revive our walk and rekindle the fire as we praise and exalt our Lord. Check the bulletin for dates and times for these special events held throughout the year.
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:4-6
EQUIP: “Encountering God” Bible Studies
This ministry invites you to experience an encounter with God through the study of His Holy word. It provides you with opportunities to grow spiritually, meet new ladies, fellowship and be encouraged by God’s promises.
